I grew up in Hoffman Estates, IL where the City Hall was a converted farmhouse once owned by Ira Gershwin. My aspirations ran free much through my attachment to stages of development while playing clarinet, ephonium, electric bass, classic guitar, lyric voice, double bass, bass clarinet, cello, and viola. As a youth in Richmond, VA I had been placed on piano as it helped me in the earliest of grades get past a problem with hearing since birth. As later years had brought me from Illinois to Idaho, then Utah I made music my highest priority. Influences resembled an assortment of great composers like Kurt Bestor, Steven Perry, Michael Dowdal, Kenneth Cope, Aaron Copeland, Felix Mendelsohn, Merrill Jenson, Lex de Azevedo, and for a long time, Tim Rice. Writing for the musical stage has lasted with me the most. Writing dialog as well as incidental music has been most of my focus. Strong spiritual content inspired by turns of events and directions I witnessed on a personal level have highlighted my many years out West. I put together some compiled compositions on a theme in Life's Journey in Christ and called it, 'Across Many Waters'. Theme for DVD though more in a media-artist fashion it has the potential to be performed on stage. Here are but a few tracks which might be well received if I can find supportive artists and friends alike to accept them. What is most important to me now is uplifting music and a place where it can grow in each of ours hearts; no matter where we are. I'm grateful to have developed early in life this love for music that mine talents might meet fruition.
